Springfield's Favorite Family Arrives in Psyonix's Hit Game: Unfortunately Not the Vehicle Fans Are Hoping For
It was previously announced that the iconic animated series was teaming up with Epic Games' battle royale, but this isn't the sole place where enthusiasts can experience the universe of Springfield. The beloved show is also making its way to the popular soccer-driving hybrid, introducing an in-game car skin that will also be usable in Fortnite. That said, if gamers will truly desire to equip it is a different matter, as fans have their hearts set on just one Springfield car everyone is itching to get behind the wheel of, and this new offering isn't that one.
The Dream Vehicle
While many players would undoubtedly love to face off while driving Homer's custom creation—the notoriously impractical car the patriarch designed personally in the 1991 installment "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?"—that's not what players are receiving. We aren't even receiving the Canyonero, the enormous truck featured in season 10. Instead, fans are getting the Simpsons' everyday beat-up sedan, which they've been driving since 1989. Though this specific vehicle has accumulated plenty of miles, it remains an recognizable symbol of the series. And for players who analyze Rocket League vehicle dimensions, the trusty sedan uses the identical collision model as the Dominus body type.

If the key art is a reliable guide, it seems players will also receive wheels featuring a television displaying The Simpsons' title sequence, alien antenna toppers, a sprinkled donut boost trail, and boost effects themed to smoldering rubber and Krusty's famous restaurant.
